This was quite an exciting job, to see a company launch onto the London Stock Exchange for the first time was quite an experience. It was my first time I was booked to photograph an event at the stock exchange.
Completely off the point but while I was working there I notice that Channel 4 First Dates restaurant happen to be right next to it.
PR new product launch at one of London's oldest Members Clubs.
Corporate breakfast celebration for Sophos launch onto the London Stock exchange. Held at Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen near in St Paul's. The breakfast looked so good I found myself having to go back a week later to try the food, I'm very happy I did, as it was fantastic.
I was commissioned to photograph the judging of a competition at 7:30 am one Tuesday morning, just off the Strand in Central London. I had worked for the company who had booked me to photograph the event a number of times previously and it was hinted that they would want more photographs of one judge in particular. Often with celebrities I am not told who they are before the job. Dragon’s Den star Deborah Meaden seemed very friendly and to the point, just like on the Den. One of the things I love about this job is that you get to meet and photograph so many people that you would never get to otherwise. Corporate events often have surprises like this, not just in PR events when you can almost expect the appearance of a celebrity or two.
My second event booking was at Home House. The staff are always super friendly there. This PR event was for ‘Covent Garden Soup’ and I was asked to photograph all of the guests as they arrived in couples. What I wasn’t told initially was that they were not conventional couples, and that most of them were just friends. This got a little confusing to begin with but it was an all rounded enjoyable day. I photographed the drinks reception, some group shots of all of the couples.
Just before Christmas I headed up in my car Guildford to photograph for a PR event company that where putting on a networking event for pupils at Surrey University. The event was hosted by senior partners from Nestle and Nelsons who also gave talks and judged a student award.
Based near Dulwich in south London in a small industrial estate lives the head quarters for the London Beer Factory. I was booked to photograph the factory in full swing for some online media platforms like Instagram and primarily their new website that will be launching soon.
The party was held at Koko in Camdon staff where bused in from 2 different offices on the outskirts of London. I photographed everyone on arrival in a popup studio in the entrance. That night I was working with another photographer friend of mine as the venue was so big 2 photographers where a must. They had all sorts of awesome acts from Britons Got Talent preforming.
